WakeCap is a safety and tracking device integrated with construction helmets to provide real-time, cloud-based visibility into worker attendance, location and accidents, as well as to enable a two-way alerting system. The technology empowers construction companies to connect workers and managers, automate manual processes, quantify labour productivity, streamline workforce evacuations and improve safety measures. WakeCap comprises an Internet of Things-enabled helmet that does not compromise on structural integrity. It creates a non-GPS network that securely connects the worksite and scales up with the project, while outputting results on a dashboard monitor that easily integrates with existing applications and project management software.
