Maryam Obaid Almheiri
Maryam is Director of Dubai’s GIS Center at Dubai Municipality and a member of the Dubai Building Permit Development Committee, which was formed by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai. This was created to increase customer satisfaction by providing excellent services in construction permitting and to increase Dubai’s ranking in the international competitiveness indicators. Maryam also participated in forming a working group to lead digital transformation in the construction sector in Dubai. Her efforts also led to the establishment of the UAE’s local chapter of the BuildingSMART BIM organisation. Maryam holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Software Engineering.
