We have taken our digitalisation in phases, based on our operational flow. The following is the brief operational flow:
- Business development activities
- Tendering
- Project management office
- Records
These are the simplified operational steps. Each step has multiple sub-steps. Our approach is to implement the initiatives in each step in phases and integrate them to complete the overall transformation. The first phase completed was business development activities. This consisted of the following:
- Identify potential clients – based on current and future project demands
- Generate leads by approaching clients
- Follow up these leads
- Convert them into Request for Quotes
Each activity requires input from many sources, such as the sales team, market insights, economic factors, etc. We also generate information used in other phases and future. The information/data generated in this phase was fully digitalised. A few of the proven benefits are as follows:
