Mansourah Massarah Gold Project

The Project comprises Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning of a Gold Plant. The Project is located within Central Arabian Gold Region, approximately 320km northeast of Taif. The scheduled processing inventory is 46 million tonnes at an average gold grade of 2.12 g/t. The project is complex and stakeholders are located in different geographies (Saudi Arabia, UAE, India , Finland, Australia).
To have a common platform for acceptance and discussion was in itself challenging and difficult. However due to the use of a Common Data Environment, the accessibility made it possible to work on the same file despite stakeholders being in different time zones. Moreover due to the process requirement and involvement of all stakeholders, the file size of the 3D Model was more than 2GB, making it very difficult to operate in the system. Eventually we broke the 3D model into different zones, reducing the file size.
