Mansourah Massarah Gold Project

The Project consists of Engineering, Procurement, Construction & Commissioning of a Gold Plant. The Project is located within the Central Arabian Gold Region, approximately 320km northeast of Taif.
The scheduled processing inventory is 46 million tonnes at an average gold grade of 2.12 g/t. The project is complex due to stakeholders being located in different geographies (Saudi Arabia, UAE, India , Finland, Australia). Creating a common platform for acceptance and discussion was in itself challenging and difficult. However due to the use of a Common Data Environment, it was possible to work on the same file while being in different time zones. Moreover due to process requirements and the involvement of stakeholders, the file size of the 3D Model became more than 2GB in size, which made it difficult to operate. Eventually, we figured out that by breaking the 3D model into different zones resulted in its reduction.
