Mohammad Dawood Aldawood
Organisation: The Red Sea Development Company
Mohammad Aldawood was the first BIM Manager employed by The Red Sea Development Company (TRSDC) and has grown into an influential BIM leader in Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East region. This has been recognised through his Project Management efforts in being the first Asset Owner globally to achieve the British Standards Institute Kitemark for BIM and first project and organisation in the Middle East.
Mohammad has leveraged his knowledge from the petrochemical industry and tailored this for the construction industry to align with local ways of working. He has also developed a cohort of new Information Managers through transforming traditional roles, developing talent and empowering a new workforce to be BIM practitioners. Mohammad’s encyclopedic knowledge of standards and thirst for research has enabled him to bring an innovative approach to BIM and rise through the organisation quickly.
He is now a respected BIM leader in the kingdom, nominated for multiple awards and shares his knowledge at events. He has developed into an accomplished BIM Manager for luxury hospitality developments, a team player with strong leadership skills and has a keen eye for detail in the delivery of projects, and the processes and systems that underpin them.
