Omar has more than 12 years demonstrated experience of engineering and construction in building structures and significant experience in BIM starting from pre-tendering through to handing over stage. He has been involved in a wide range of construction projects, including large scale high-rise and mega projects such as residential, commercial, civil, airports, educational, cultural, sports arenas, infrastructures and perceivable buildings all over the world.
Omar has undertaken BIM for projects coordination and helped with cost control on numerous buildings for prominent clients. He has also worked on 20 projects. In addition, her thrives on challenging the norm with the aim to improve projects and increase value while optimising BIM work processes, high-end BIM solutions, high performance materials, prefabrication, sophisticated design optimisation and new technologies, working with stakeholders to ensure rapid construction and an efficient building.
Currently, Omar is using BIM technology on the Marina Vista Towers project, which has a LOD 500 requirement. Previously, he was engaged with Dubai Creek Harbour – The Tower, the tallest tower in the world at bidding stage. Apart from the projects mentioned, Omar was extensively engaged with mega landmarks in the GCC, with an excellent performance in BIM implementation.
