The efficiency of a building is not linear. It drops off as key parts within the building age.
This talk looks at efforts to improve the energy efficiency of an aluminium factory.
The factory produces 18,000 tonnes a year of aluminium parts. Following an energy audit, Enova used its rooftop to install 1MW of solar panels. Once completed, the installation will generate 1.5GWh a year, reducing the factory’s carbon dioxide emissions by 750 tonnes annually.
