Arabtec entered liquidation
Dubai-based construction company Arabtec has entered liquidation. It is reported that the company, which employed about 40,000 people, had liabilities of around $2.75bn. The collapse has been put down to a difficult trading environment due to the Coronavirus and low oil price, and in part due to undercutting its competition on tender prices.
