The ADNOC oil & gas joint venture is using a digital twin at its Intelligent Wisdom Center
Al Yasat Petroleum, an operating company of UAE oil & gas major Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), is using one of the sector’s most advanced digital twins to manage systems and data, allowing predictive decision making in areas such as maintenance.
A joint venture between ADNOC and China National Petroleum Corporation, Al Yasat develops economically marginal oil and gas sites, typically due to their location and terrain, making management of costs and safety important.
Speaking at the Construction Technology Festival in Dubai, Wassim Ghadban, Vice President, Global Digital & Innovation, SNC-Lavalin, discussed the development and use of a digital twin at ADNOC Al Yasat’s Intelligent Wisdom Center.
