The investigation found that for non-load bearing cavity walls, fire resistance could be increased when Rockwool insulation was added
A study into the fire resistance of 3D printed concrete walls has recommended several approaches to improve their performance, including use of a double row wall configuration, increased thickness and use of cavity fillings.
To date there have been few studies on the combined thermal energy and fire performance of 3D printed concrete walls, researchers said.
